Worms!!

We practiced our worm play today! We learned about worms and how they move. They don't like light. Worms have 5 hearts.
They do not have teeth. There are over 2,000 kinds of worms. South Africa had a worm that was 22 feet long!

For Veteran's day Mrs. Allen's husband came and talked to the students about Iraq and showed pictures about things there. The students were very interested! It was great for them to get to ask questions about the military and Iraq.

We are reading How to Eat Fried Worms, and we are writing our own worm stories. This is one of the students writing his story about his worm!

We have learned about Piet Mondrian this year. Mrs. Cushing

Today we took a cummulative spelling test and we all did o.k.. We are talking about the presidential election. We have also started reading the book How to Eat Fried Worms by Thomas Rockwell. Josh thinks it is a fun book. Hope likes the worms. Isaiah thinks it is a funny book. Dimitrius thinks the way they cook the worm is interesting. Look at our pictures with our worms.
